Economic Development

Together, we maintain and cultivate relationships with regional stakeholders and industry professionals, actively supporting the long-term success of our economic growth.

Our Goal + Strategies

At our core, we are driven by the objective of fostering economic growth and prosperity in the region. By cultivating strong relationships with local stakeholders and industry professionals, we are committed to supporting long-term success through four key strategies.

01

Collaborate with Regional Workforce Development Stakeholders

We work with partners to shine a light on local workforce needs and opportunities. By engaging employers and industry professionals, we showcase the diverse range of career pathways available. We facilitate collaboration by expanding our Apple STEM Leadership Team to include representatives from prominent sectors like Agriculture, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Government, and Computer Science/IT.

02

Work Closely with the North Central Career Connect Washington Network

Through this partnership, we enhance career pathways for both young individuals and adults. Our goal is to ensure equitable access to training programs and family-wage employment opportunities that align with regional workforce needs.

03

Champion Vital Technology and Infrastructure Investments

Technology and infrastructure is vital to successful community development. This includes advocating for broadband expansion, capital improvements, and other essential resources. We provide stories, data, and valuable connections to assist stakeholders in securing additional funds through grants and partnerships.

04

Involve Employers and Industry Professionals to Bridge the Digital Divide

We bridge the digital divide by actively involving employers and industry professionals in meaningful volunteer and ambassadorship activities. Through initiatives like Computers for Kids, coding workshops, and Tech & Tiaras events, we tap into their expertise to create positive change.
